My Workshops and Demos have proved to be very popular and I have often been asked to return to run more.

Absolutely everyone is welcome!

My workshops are there to encourage people to feel they have made some progress with their painting on the day. I feel very strongly that no one should feel judged or belittled with what they can do. We all have to start somewhere!

Many of my workshops have been run for art societies and groups.
I have also been into both primary and secondary schools for talks, demos and workshops.
I am fully DBS checked.

Please feel reassured that I am incredibly patient with people, enthusiastic, energetic and kind. I really do have a very positive outlook on life.  People tell me this always comes across when I share my painting knowledge.

My painting style has changed over the years somewhat, but I am happy to step back and forth with subjects for workshops and revisit a previously learned skill. (See Demonstrations).

During a workshop you can expect a talk and demonstration from me on our chosen subject and then lots of help as we progress through day.

At the end of the day it’s always nice to stop and  clear up and have a look at what everyone has achieved. Then I can give a final bit of advice about how to proceed before we leave.

I can provide materials at my workshops and I often bring spare materials for those who are new to using acrylics.

If you are thinking about trying acrylics then I prefer that you don’t buy all of the materials until you have had a go first so please use up some of mine.

A typical workshop for me will run from 9.30-4pm but I can be flexible on times.  Please contact me for prices as these will vary with travel time.
